Welcome to Words with Wings.

Words don’t come easy to me….do they to anyone? Yet I am obsessed with words, the way they can stumble and fumble or glide and slide depending on how they are arranged. I have been arranging words into clever copy, amusing articles and enlightening lectures for more than two decades and have had a thoroughly delightful time doing so. I love words which means I love what I do – which is mostly creating concepts and copy for ads, writing articles for magazines or writing and delivering lectures for university.   I revel in wrangling with two to twenty letter creatures and encouraging them to come together, rise above the mundane and take wing and fly!  (Hence my company’s name: words with wings) I also love ideas, especially the renegade ones that strike out on their own to leave their stamp of ingenuity on the world. This blog is designed to celebrate clever words and ideas and to help me connect with people who are looking for, creating or just enjoying both.

Freelance copywriting – I am available for jobs by the hour, day or on a project basis.

Writer – I can craft an article, how-to piece, speech, presentation or report

Educator – I can write courses and curriculum, lectures and assessments and deliver them all.
